Introducing SOD Installation

This spring, Atlas would like to remind customers that along with installing and maintaining your sprinkler systems, we also install sod in order further improve the look of your landscape.  Whether if it’s a patch of lawn that is not yet being watered by your system or you simply would like to improve the look of your lawn instantly, Atlas can help you with our sod installation service.  We are currently offering two types of sod, Tall Fescue and Kentucky Blue Grass.

Tall Fescue:

¨ Acclaimed as drought-resistant lawn

¨ Requires less irrigation because roots develop deeply and hence access water deeper in the soil than other grasses

¨ Tolerant of shade and salty soils

¨ Has few insects or disease problems

¨ Requires less fertilization

¨ Thatch is rarely a problem

¨ More tolerant

Kentucky Blue Grass:

 

¨ Most common planting grass in the United States

¨ Grows easy almost anywhere and can withstand the cold, full sunlight exposure, and moderate amounts of moisture

¨ Provides a beautiful, dense, soft, green turf

¨ Mows cleanly and easily

¨ Goes dormant during dry periods

¨ Resistance to various diseases
